Recommendations for blocks mounting
Before installation you need to determine the location of the inspection door, and the place of consumers connection.
1. Foundation
Since a very light material is used for the chimney, the foundation should be light weighed: just lay on the floor cement pillow height of 25cm and make hydraulic insulation. It should be noted that the edges of plates on each side of the block should be not less than 15cm.
2. Blocks Stacking
Blocks are installed either on cement or a special glue (cement should not be below mark M50, M75, and glue designed for operation at high temperatures) and carefully aligned using level. Openings for ventilation grilles, door chimney, flue channel are made in advance with
angle grinding machine (angle grinder with diamond circle for concrete). Accessories are attached only by insert into the block body.
3. Holes for inspection doors and grilles
Cut in a convenient place a hole for grilles and inspection (cleaning) doors. You should use a corner grinder with round for lightweight concrete or drill holes along the contour of the door with usual (not shock!) drill and use a chisel and hammer to knock a hole.
4. Connecting of heating equipment
To connect the boiler it is necessary to drill holes with a drill (NOT shock!) on the tee insert contour. Then take a chisel and hammer to knock a hole. The diameter of the hole should be more by 15-20mm then the diameter of pipe connection. This stock is associated with thermal expansion of steel pipe. For connection use stainless steel pipe or a pipe of low alloy steel.
5. Stability System
For static stability of the chimney in the blocks structure openings for reinforcement are provided. You need to install reinforcing rods for reinforcing the holes starting from the base. The remaining space is filled with grout.
